This course is designed for pharma professionals who work with, depend on, or are responsible for USP Purified Water and WFI systems. It is useful for engineering, maintenance, projects, production, QA, QC, validation, utility, and technical service teams.

The course covers the fundamentals of pharmaceutical water systems, from raw water treatment to point of use. Topics include impurities, key water quality parameters, pretreatment, RO, EDI, PW generation, WFI generation, storage and distribution, disinfection, sanitization, monitoring, controls, standards, validation, documentation, and water analysis reports.

The course is focused on systems used for producing and distributing USP Purified Water and WFI. It explains the equipment, concepts, flow paths, quality parameters, and system-level understanding needed to work confidently with these systems.

No. This is a fundamentals course. It does not focus on detailed design calculations, sizing, engineering drawings, or project execution. Instead, it helps learners understand how pharmaceutical water systems work, why each component is used, and how major concepts connect across the complete system.

This course is built around animated, visual, and interactive learning. Instead of relying only on PPT slides, P&IDs, or classroom lectures, it uses 3D animations, equipment visuals, process explanations, quizzes, and interactive 3D modules to make complex concepts easier to understand.

This course makes extensive use of 3D animated videos to explain complex pharmaceutical water system concepts visually. 3D animation allows learners to see what cannot normally be seen with the naked eye — for example, how ions move during membrane-based separation or how biofilms develop on internal surfaces.Interactive 3D goes one step further. Unlike videos, which play in a fixed sequence, interactive 3D modules are non-linear and allow the learner to explore a 3D model directly. For example, in a Point-of-Use Cooler module, learners may be able to rotate the equipment, view it from different angles, hide selected parts, and click hotspots to access additional information.This helps learners move beyond passive watching and actively explore how equipment is built and how it works.
